# 0637 Peace and Blessings Every Day

Beyond the comfort
======================
I am at a point once again in my life where I have
to plan and do my part for the next phase in my life.
I am halfway done with the evening law program
I am in, and it is unnerving to think of the change
which will happen whether I am ready or not.

I am at a point in my life where praise be to God
I am comfortable. It is this comfort that is encouraging
me to stand still and not really think about what I will
need to do: thinking about interviews, new job, new
working environment,  new people, new routine, and the
list goes on and on.

I am the type to focus on the present, but I also know
that I have to do my part to plan for the future even if it
doesn’t go according to that plan. Yet again, that comfort
is wanting me to procrastinate and just push it aside.

That is what happens in life when we are comfortable. We
know that in order for us to progress, we need to put
ourselves outside of our comfort zone at times, but we are constantly
held back by ourselves and the “what-ifs.”

What if I am in a worse position?

What if I am no longer comfortable?

What if my routine is not something I like?

What if things don’t work out?
We ask ourselves these questions, yet the same position
we are in today had to do with a decision that was made before
where we had to go beyond what we were comfortable with. People
of faith often forget that God has our best interests and God will
not put us in a position where we can’t thrive. Often we are in a
much better place.

When we forget about this, we tend to cling onto our zones of
comfort and push aside the thoughts of the inevitable that will
come to be whether we are ready or not.
