Faith and Stress
======================

One of the ways I personally cope with stress and anxiety is through my
faith and trust in God. One of the things that I have personally
encountered and observed is those people with lack of faith or no
faith have a much harder time dealing with stress and anxiety.

I used to wonder why; however, as I have gotten older, I have come
up with an explanation that makes the most sense to me.

You see, those who have faith and trust in God understand that
everything that comes your way in life cannot be done without
the will and knowledge of God. Thus, regardless of what
calamity that comes your way, it is from God, which really is
a blessing that you don’t know about because you can’t see
into the future.

Thus, when things don’t go your way or your mind starts to create
unneeded worry, remembering God will help decrease that tension
because it allows you to realize that you are not alone in working
through the problem.

What better being to help you through a problem than God. This
of course does not mean that you should sit around when you
have a problem causing stress or anxiety; however, it means you
should do what you can to decrease or rid yourself of the stress knowing
that God will do the rest of the work.

When in stressful times, remember your faith and trust in God is the first
step to decreasing the tension.
