Ships and Distractions

If a captain of a ship is on a long journey sailing toward a far away destination,

but constantly changed course every time something new caught his eye, it

would probably take him a long time to get to his destination, not to mention

increase the possibilities of getting lost.

Modern day technology has inundated us with so many things that can

"catch our eyes at sea".  

It's really easy for us to shift off course during the day because of those

distractions and soon it becomes habit.

Try setting designated times to checking out those things that "catch your

eyes", but spend the majority of your time sailing toward your destination.  

Consistent small distractions can eventually lead us off course into disaster,

just as how small leaks can eventually sink a great ship.
