Return to Neverland.
======================

Children are very fascinating.

Children have ultimate freedom before the
reigns of society are clasped onto them.

Everything is a clean slate for a child.

Today I thought back to a favorite cartoon show of my
childhood: Peter Pan.

The lost boys. Neverland. Imagination run wild.

Peter Pan was a show about a group of children, who
were deemed "lost" because they did not want to grow up.
The leader of pack was Peter Pan. Curious. Daring. Adventurous.

Think back to your childhood.

You were curious about everything. You wanted to
explore, talk to different people, try different things...
you were totally free.

When you felt like taking a nap, you did so.

When you felt like running around until you used up
all of your energy, you did so.

You would use your imagination all the time. You made
adventures out of your life.

You lived.

You had peace.

Eventually, you started learning the social norms of society.
Granted some of these were good things to learn, such as
sharing, getting along with others, being polite.

However, with these social norms, you were also taught fear, prejudice,
and judgement.

Whether it was the fears your parents had that transferred onto you.
Fears from other children who learned from their parents. Fears
from the grown-ups around you who for lack of knowledge, among other things,
instilled fears onto you.

As we grew up, we started amounting the numerous "tales of the REAL world"
and slowly we started conforming. We started giving our freedoms we had as
children so we could conform with society and be accepted.

Maybe we need to change our adult perspectives and look again through the
eyes of ourselves as children.

Maybe we need to return back to Neverland.
