Your tone of voice can make a big world of a difference.
Two people can say the exact same thing, but based
upon their tone of voice can mean two different things.
For example, “thank you for being on time” if said
in a sincere tone can mean appreciation for acknowledging
that someone’s time is valuable, and by being on time, you
are respect that. However, if said in a sarcastic tone,
it can mean that you were late, and the person is annoyed.
Being aware of your tone of voice is important in every aspect
of your life. Watch your tone especially around loved ones because
without being aware of it, you may start using the same tone
with a particular individual and slowly but surely it will
start to chip away at your relationship.
