Who you are in situations is who you are
in situations.
Most often we think, “oh, if this were a different
situation, I would have done this” or “if this
really counted, I would have done X,Y,Z.”
I know I have done this and I still do. The truth
is what is written. No matter the situation, you
are who you are. So for example, lets say
at work you are assigned something which isn’t
going to be reviewed by someone above you.
The thought process may be, “Well, this isn’t
going to be reviewed. If it was going to be reviewed,
I would work twice as hard to get it right.”
Regardless of it being reviewed or not, how
you would go about it is the same in either situation.
