When something truly comes from a genuine place, and I mean truly genuine, the feeling can't be completely explained.
It doesn't necessarily have to do with the genuineness being for a pleasant event, it can also be for events that are often sad. For example, a relationship break up most often is a very devastating event. There is a lot of emotion and hurt involved. But when you come from a place of pure genuineness, that unpleasant event can be something quite the opposite by wishing the other person well with what life journey comes their way.
I often saw networking as something self serving. That was until I looked at it from a genuine place in my heart. It no longer became what the other person could do for me but more to better get to know and learn about the other person.
It's not easy in our society to always be genuine but it is something worth trying as it will let you experience something very alive.
