Every day you have an opportunity to be great.
Every day you have an opportunity to do something
with great precision and care.
It is up to you in terms of how you measure it, but it the
opportunities are limitless and are present
When you look at a task before you, whatever it is,
treat it like it will be the best task that you’ve had before
you, and treat it with care, ease, and diligence to get
the task done.
When we start treating things before us on a daily basis
as something that just needs to be done, we start our
minds to look at it as simply that: something that just
has to be done.
When this happens, we start to daydream about other
things and we miss out on the current opportunity before us
to do something we are proud of.
You want to know how I know this can be done with anything?
I thought of this as I was shoveling snow.
Yes, it had to be done, but I didn’t treat it that way.
I treated it as an opportunity for me to problem solve and
shovel the snow, and be great at it.
It was just shoveling snow, but the way I looked at it helped
me be proud of my work for something that had to be done.
